Sean Patrick Leonard, a local Chicago actor and producer is working on an exciting second season of a Chicago based web series called Guys Book Club on guysbookclub.tv. Sean is a Cubs fan and Dempster Foundation friend and will be wearing a Dempster Foundation t-shirt in an upcoming episode to show his support for the Foundation.

The second season of Guys Book Club will premier Fall, 2012. The series features a group of disenchanted married men who attempt to recapture their manhood by using a Book Club as an excuse to get away from their wives. Adolescent insanity ensues. Tired of spending every waking moment with his nagging wife, Vik does what any self-respecting ticking-time-bomb would do; he forms a fake book club. Bringing together a variety of misfit Chicagoans, ranging from the online college student to the veteran retiree, The Guys Book Club takes on an aggressive, often confrontational life of its own. Eye gouging tasering, even murder plots are naturally complimented with a dash of baked goods and loofahs. Warped views and precarious judgments often lead to a myriad of uncomfortable situations, but in the end the Book Club is greater than the sum of its self. It is an unflinching 9-episode SKIT-COM, with a total running time of 22 minutes. New episodes are released every Tuesday.
