George was 3 days old when he turned purple on us twice. After going through appointments with Ear, nose, and throat doctor he was referred to plastic surgery and a sleep study. We were told when he was less than three weeks old he most likely would have jaw surgery to bring his jaw forward. When he was two weeks old he had his first sleep study. Within the first thirty minutes they brought oxygen in for him. Four days after that sleep study the plastic surgeon called to say he had to have bilateral jaw surgery. He had his surgery when he was three weeks old. What was supposed to be a 5 to 7 day stay ended up being 12 days stay due to him not gaining weight. Since then he had his second surgery to remove the distractors out of his jaw. It's been 7 months since his last surgery. He has since past a second sleep study with flying colors. He is hitting a lot of milestones in his gross motor skills. I am so blessed to have this little boy in my life he is a fighter.
