Grace was diagnosed with the 22q deletion at 3 1/2 years of age.  She has had three surgeries on her palate to help with her VPI. She has had speech therapy since 2 years of age. She had a vascular ring which was seperated when she was 5. She has a right cervical aortic arch, mild pulmonary artery stenosis and mild dilation of the aortic root. She has seizures which are currently well under control. Grace has Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety and OCD. Her vertebrae at C2-C3 are fused together and has subluxation of 5mm with her head in the flexed position (Klippel Feil Syndrome). She also has tracheo-branchiomalasia (very narrow areas in trachea and branchials). Grace has a learning disability and in the Life Skills Class at her school. Most importantly, Grace is a happy and healthy teenager who has many friends and a family that loves her!
