Congenital heart disease affects more than the heart, it affects the mind as well. Frequent clinic visits, hospital stays, procedures and tests can have a big psychosocial impact on both caregivers and patients. Do you get anxious before a doctors’ visit? Do certain smells or sounds make your heart race? You are not alone. This program will discuss signs of anxiety and explore various treatment options.
