The 22q Community lost another member of our family last week. Her name was Joy. She and her family touched so many around the world by sharing their journey on the Joy's Journal page. Baby Joy was laid to rest this past Sunday. Our collective 22q family came together to honor Joy's life. Families around the world stopped what they were doing and remembered a tiny fighter named Joy by releasing purple balloons in her honor. I think we were all reminded how truly fortunate we are, to have each other. Please take a moment to remember this sweet girl, and all the inspiring lives we've lost too soon to 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome.
